INSULATION MATERIALS
Lake Constance. Already 6.000 years ago men used thatched roofs to cover their houses. Its an ancestral technique that is still, sometimes, applied. But reed can also be used for fences, sunshades, mats or base for clay plasters. A unique material.
Redstone offers inside insulation solutions, able to manage humidity or even saltpetre problems.
Hemp is cultivated on fields where the farmer has the obligation to reduce or even completely abandon the use of fertilizers to protect drinking water. Hemp is already used in the automobile sector and the textile industry and can be used as an insulation material. A wonderful plant that needs no use of fertilizers. And Thermo-Natur also produces jute-insulation panels out of old coffee bags. A real recycling product.
Insulate a wall from inside. In the past, this was a real challenge. With the UdiReco-panels, this changed into an easy-going thing. This wood fibre insulation panel combined a high-density panel to plaster with a fluffy wood wool panel that snuggles with a nonplan underground.
Vacuum insulation panels use the principles of a thermos bottle. Vacuum is a perfect insulator because there is no medium that allows the heat to transfer from the warm interior to the cold exterior. This efficiency allows us to reduce the thickness of the panels by factor 5…which permits to insulate even when there is nearly no space…
